Dialing down effects or gain to to clean up chords is a good place to start. Clean sounds plus modulations, reverb, and/or delay are always good places to start. A lot of of heavier rock uses power chords instead of full open or barre chords, but slightly pushing a Vox or Plexi style amp can give you nice break up and enough definition in bigger chords.

I've tried 3 Sigma and liked their IR's. There are a few companies that do really good work. It also comes down to organization a bit too, 3 Sigma has typically around10 great sounding IR's in a pack and then a company like Ownhammer will have IR packs with every mic distance etc; this adds up to a lot more files to choose from, which can be good but going through and testing a ton of IR's isn't for everyone.

Great photo. Isaiah Sharkey is an amazing player.

Aside from the bass amp models sections, you can find descriptions/images in this older model gallery pdf. The Spider V models use the same names and are based on the same amps. http://line6.com/support/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_id=1294

I don't think the Voodoo Labs 2plus would work. I've found conflicting info on the actual mA draw for the M9 (between 1100-2000mA), but being a digital pedal it will definitely have a high mA draw. Digital pedals need the correct amount of power or they will not function properly.

Nice job! Recording and jamming from 3 different cities in real time is real cool!

I don't believe there is any way to change this with MKI FBV and Amplifi.

As stated above it is safe to use a bass with FH1500 because it is an FRFR system. There are no dedicated bass amp models in FH1500 but you can definitely achieve a good bass tone with some of the models available. A few amp models to start with for bass applications are the 1972 Silverface Bass and Tube Instrument Preamp.

If you haven't pulled the plug on anything yet, the newly announced Helix LT sounds like it could be a backup solution for you

Hi es336td, I checked out the song and was able to get fairly close to the delay sound you are after. I used the the tube echo model. Mix: 50%, Feedback 50-60%, Wow/Flutter 20-30%, Drive 20-30%. I set the time option to a quarter note that I synced with the tap tempo footswitch. To change from milliseconds to note values turn the corresponding knob all the way to the right until it switches to note values, from there you can turn the knob left for other note values. I hope this helped, let me know if you need anymore info!

Yes FBV Express MKII does work with Amplifi. You can always check the complete compatibility list here: http://line6.com/support/page/kb/_/effects-controllers/fbv-mki-mkii-controllers/the-complete-line-6-pedal-compatibility-faq-r58

Unfortunately, at this time you cannot delete tones that have been posted to the cloud. Also to rename a tone you have to select "Save to my tones as" and then delete the old name from your list of "My Tones". There are a few requests on https://line6.ideascale.com/ to update features on the app. Consider up-voting these ideas. Line 6 product managers do check out the ideascale board.

Glad you are enjoying the latest update!

Strange! As mentioned above there is no way to calibrate the tuner. Try a factory reset or updating to the latest fimware and let us know if that has solved your issue. Holding down to home button will bring you to a menu where you can perform the factory reset.

The 240 does have stereo xlr outs for connecting to a pa etc., but if you need external speakers in the form of a cab check out the 240HC.

I found an instance of a user achieving this with an Amplifi 75 and an iPad, it should work the same with the TT. I've included the link to the original thread. http://line6.com/support/topic/19179-amplifi-as-recording-interface-with-ipad/

Any effect/amp parameter you can adjust on the app can also be adjusted on the front of the amp. On the amp when you are on the amp or effects mode screen hitting the edit button will bring up a menu with editable parameters, just as in the app.

There is a smart harmony effect, synth harmony, bender (like a whammy), and octave fuzz in Firehawk's 1500 effects. I've included a link to a list of effects in the Firehawk. If you choose to use the effects loop you can place the effects loop at any point in the chain using the Firehawk app. http://uk.line6.com/data/6/0a06439c36fe54ebd52c487eb/file/pdf/firehawk-effects-models.pdf

Technically all the amp models are based on guitar amp models. The two models surfercook mentioned are probably your best bets for bass.

Right now it seems only the pilot's guide is available for FBV3. If you have any questions about FBV3 feel free to post them here and I'll do my best to help.

Using FH1500 as an FRFR speaker only (with no preset load)
ADBrown replied to maorgr's topic in Firehawk 1500
You can go into the stereo XLR inputs on firehawk 1500 which will bypass the modeling. Alternatively, you can turn off all the modeling in Firehawk and plug in thru the guitar in. On the app turn off all effects, and select "no amp" (first choice in the clean amp category). There is a previous thread discussing Firehawk 1500 as an FRFR solution with Helix you may find useful. http://line6.com/support/topic/19436-helix-firehawk-1500-best-connection-scheme-for-live-frfr-purposes/ -
Those amps aren't specifically modeled on the Spider V amps but you can probably get close to their sound with other available amp models. The 1958 Tweed B-Man might be a good starting point for the Hot Rod Deluxe, I would also recommend the Line 6 Bayou, Line 6 Twang, or Line 6 Boutique #1 for Fender style sounds. For the Marshall DSL 40C consider experimenting with different "Brit" models.

Truly the dream rig is in the eye of the beholder ;) but the "Dream Rig" has been referenced as a Variax + POD HD500 + DT amp. http://line6.com/dreamrig/
