I had that same BT transmitter for awhile and was using it with BT earbuds in my workout room for my TV. Even with movies and whatnot, I could still notice the latency sometimes. It probably wouldn't be viable because of that for guitar.

What do you mean by "pass through", exactly?
-
It would be either slot 7 or 8.
-
Well, you don't really delete them. You just overwrite them with another preset. So just find a blank one and copy and paste it into that slot.

If you notice the percentage of the preset that it's hanging up on, you can generally figure what the offending preset is and delete it. I've had this happen with my Helix, and got it to work by doing that.

What are you trying to activate?

You're limited to assigning one command per footswitch in Stomp Mode, so you would probably be better off using Instant Commands and snapshots. You can have up to six Instant Commands per snapshot, and they will get sent out per snapshot change. So if you wanted to change amp channels and reverb at the same time, you could. If you're using CCs, it becomes a little more complex, but not impossible. You just need to assign as different CC to each Instant Command you need and set the value for each snapshot.

The cabled power kit mentioned above will work. Honestly, though, I think it's much easier to just use the battery. I would probably spend the money on a spare battery before I bought that kit.

Could you put a screenshot of your tone up? Are you putting the reverb blocks on the same path as the amp blocks?

Try lowering the channel volume parameter in the amp block as the first thing. You can always go in the Send block and lower the send parameter there, but that wouldn't be my first choice.

Problems connecting my Standard with Line 6 Monkey and Workbench
phil_m replied to Buddydean5's topic in Variax Standard
Make sure you have a charged battery in the Variax, a cable plugged into the 1/4" jack, and the volume knob up. The VDI interface doesn't power the guitar, so it has to run off battery power and be powered up. -
Line 6 is aware of this issue, and there should be a fix coming for it shortly.

You are getting your modes mixed up... Think of it like this - out of the gate, there are two basic modes. There's Stomp Mode and Preset Mode. On the Helix Floor and Rack, you have an option to have Stomp Mode display 10 stomps (converting the Bank Up and Down switches to stomps). On the LT, you don't have that option. As far as Preset Mode, there are bunch of different options as far as what you want to view - You can set it to 8 Presets, 4 Presets/4 Stomps (and the inversion), 4 Snaps/4 Stomps (and the inversion), and 8 Snapshots. The Mode Switch will always go back and forth between Stomp and Preset Mode, though. Stomp Mode is the only mode in which you can assign effects to footswitches using the touch capacitance feature. There are other modes, like Looper Mode, Pedal Edit Mode, and Snapshot Mode, but for the sake of simplicity, we won't go down that road right now...

What's it connected to?

The G10's converters are 24-bit, just like all of the Relay stuff, so it has plenty of headroom and dynamic range. I use my G10 with my acoustics with onboard preamps, which also have pretty high outputs, all the time. It works great.

Yes, it matters very much.

Make sure you don't have the "Cab Filter" switch on the back of the BigSky turned on.
-
You don't need to download the 2.53 firmware file to install the update. Just download and install the latest version of HX Edit and run Line 6 Updater.
-
It's called "Derailed Ingrid"... Make sure you're running the latest version of HX Edit.

Snap Shots, is there a 'enable all parameters' option?
phil_m replied to MarkJarvis's topic in Helix
Not to be too pedantic about it, but just to clarify, 64 is the limit for the total number of control assignments in a preset, so that includes any parameters assigned to expression pedals, footswitches, Variax knobs, and/or snapshot controllers. -
Should be fixed later this week...
-
Yep... The instruction for the Auto Engage feature are buried in the firmware release notes for 2.10. - Press MENU and then Knob 1 (Bypass Assign). Turn Knob 1 (Switch) to select the desired switch. When selecting a continuous controller as a switch, Knob 2 (Position) and Knob 3 (Wait) appear. - Bypass Assign > Position—Position determines the location in the Exp Pedal or Variax knob’s travel where the block is engaged. For example, if set to 1%, the block will turn off as soon as the pedal is moved to the heel position. If set to 99%, the block will only turn on when the pedal is moved to the toe position. To swap the on/off state regardless of position, press the BYPASS button. - Bypass Assign > Wait—Wait determines how long it takes after the Exp Pedal or Variax Knob is moved below the Position location before the block turns off.

The min and max values for the expression pedal are per preset, so you can't have separate ones set per snapshot. If you the EXP Position parameter in Global Settings>EXP Pedals set to "Per Snapshot", you can have a specific value saved for that parameter in each snapshot. But once you move the pedal, the pedal will always toggle between the min and max values that you have it set to.
