  1. You'll be happy. They released a driver towards the end of 2014 that supports the AMPLIFi series as an ASIO device. Checkout the drivers on the downloads page.
  2. Quite possibly. What type of input is on the stereo?
  3. What type of input are you using on your stereo? Have you tried just headphones into the FX100?
  4. That's how an ASIO device works. It is the Input and Output device. Connect your monitors to your POD. Or run the analog outs to a mixer and connect your monitors to your mixer so you're not swapping cables out back and forth for different interfaces and your pc's internal soundcard..
  5. Can you provide details of how you usually have things connected?
  6. The USB is for direct recording over USB to your DAW.
  7. Stream some music via BT and see how it sounds, if it's ok then it is likely settings.
  8. Try downloading the Flash Mem outside of Monkey and use Monkey to "Flash from file".
  9. The algorithms used in POD Farm software are the same that are used in the PODxt, POD X3, and AMPLIFi series. But there are differences in the signal chain flexibility.
  10. What do you see when you turn on the FX100?
  11. Regarding lag time, the lag time is a bit longer if you have the AMPLIFi Remote app open. Regarding USB recording, if you jam with headphones or studio monitors, the USB recording will sound the same on playback assuming same output levels. IMHO dialing tones is easy. If you played with any of the xt or X3 series, it is very similar. Where is the FX100 going? Who knows. It is the first effects processor from Line6 (or anyone I think) that uses an iOS or Android device as an editor, there is no pc editor. So I personally view it as a proof a principal. Case in point, the Firehawk. What do I like about the unit the most? I own a PODxt, the FX100 is based on the same algorithms, but for some reason the tones sound better. I also have a UX2 and to me the Line Outs on the FX100 feel hotter than the UX2. What do I like about it the least? It's not a Firehawk :( Since I use it almost exclusively for home recording, lag time and lack off stomp mode are not important to me.
  12. If you suspect it is a bug related to Win 10, please call Line6 or open a support ticket. If it is a bug, the more people that submit a ticket the more info Line6 will have to work with.
  13. Yes. http://line6.com/account/registergear/
  14. Did you buy any model packs or additional license? If not, all you need to do is unregister it. If you did purchase model packs you can gift them to the buyer.
  15. Although official Line6 reps drop in from time to time, this is a user forum and not a direct conduit to Line6 support. You can call them directly or open a support ticket by following the support link at the top of the page I'm not a Mac user but in the meantime you could try rolling back your driver to the one that previously worked.
  16. The HD300 and 400 are different than the 500 (this difference is 100 each  ). In the Advanced Guide for the POD HD 300 & 400 search "USB Monitor". It is a parameter you can adjust on the hardware and should be what you're looking for.
  17. You could try making the UX2 you default device. Also, if you are using a USB 3.0 port try a USB 2.0. If anything has focus of your UX2 as an ASIO device, such as your DAW, unplugging the USB can definitely cause a freeze or BSOD.
  18. To paste a URL, click the link icon then past in the URL box.
  19. I'm assuming you installed the drivers for the AMPLIFi and are running the current firmware. You could try a different USB cable and different ports. What is your OS? Can you upload a sample?
  20. Try a DAW that supports ASIO natively. You can try Reaper for free to see if it corrects your issue by selecting the Line6 ASIO driver as your device within Reaper. Audacity does not install with ASIO support, you have to compile it to do so, not sure about the specs on Magix. http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/ASIO_Audio_Interface
  21. Did you per chance purchase it under a different user name? I would give Line6 a call.
  22. Yep, long time fan, even after the shenanigans!! Yes, the FX100 can now be used as an audio interface via USB to your DAW. I honestly do not now if there is a conversion method to connect the FX100 USB to the Lightning port with the exception of the iPad camera connection kit. So I guess the Apple camera connection kit is the combo you would need. Sonic Port as specifically designed to use with iPad/iPhones.
