  1. Yes, you can reformat with out an issue with the License. It is tied to your UX1. When you are done reformatting download the newest Monkey to get all the current drivers and software. http://line6.com/software/
  2. Do you have you speakers/headphones connected directly to the GX?
  3. Si ejecuta Line6 mono tienes marcas cheques verdes? Además, echa un vistazo a este documento. Lo siento, no tengo el transaltion, usé Google para traducir su mensaje. http://line6.com/support/topic/217-usb-audio-troubleshooting/
  4. When the PODxt is booting up it will momentarily show which Model Packs, if any, are installed
  5. You can just play the MP3's on your computer.
  6. Weird!! I assume it happens even if the POD is not powered but connect via USB during boot-up?
  7. I was just cracking a joke on Joe playing with his teath in the vid. Hopefully in your quest to nail his tone, you'll find a few of your own!!
  8. Have you tried really sinking you teeth into it?? ;)
  9. Whether you use digital or analog, when you use the UX2 as an audio interface it becomes your (external) sound card soit will play all you computer sounds, i-Tunes, Youtube, ect. So if you prefer to only plug your UX2 in via USB for jamming and your computer is connected via SPDIF, then yes, that is fine too. But I assuming you would b swapping out the SPDIF connection from computer to UX2, which I guess is easier than flipping a switch on the back of each monitor. I doubt you wasted $36, a set of cables will come in handy sooner or later.
  10. Not really true. If you've been around the forums long enough I think you would have seen several occasions where "Experts" have been very critical and openly expressed their opinions of what they felt may have been shortcomings of some of the Line6 products. Except of course for the CDA./ NDA
  11. There is an input select switch on the back. Check out page2 http://www.m-audio.com/images/global/manuals/DSM2_UG_%202009Oct01_EN.pdf I would confirm the analog outs work just to be sure there are no hardware issues with the UX2, especially if you are in a return window/warranty period.
  12. Quality wise you would be hard pressed to hear the difference. But if I remember correctly, with SPDIF there is no Master Output control from the Output knob of the UX2, but I am not 100% sure.
  13. Is it possible there is a setting on your monitors for analog vs SPDIF? That is the case with my JBL's, I can toggle between different inputs.
  14. 1) Do you have POD Farm 2.5? If so, select Dual Tone in POD Farm. In the Mixer view on the left side for input select guitar for Tone A and Mic for Tone B (or vise versa). Then on the right side for sends1-2 select Record Tone A and for sends 3-4 select Record Tone B. In your DAW make sure you have all four Inputs of the UX2 enabled and arm 2 tracks to record. Have one track receive inputs 1-2 and the other 3-4. 2) Not sure what you mean by multi-tracking not working. You should be able to record a track. Then upon playback record another separate track. 3) That is a matter of taste. But not having to mic guitars is one of the reasons users purchase a UX2. Also, if you have a POD Studio which came bundled with POD Farm 2, you could record you dry guitar signal then add the plug-in post processing.
  15. +1 to Zap. Also, have you tried the DPC Latency checker mentioned in this thread? http://line6.com/support/topic/217-usb-audio-troubleshooting/
  16. Same difference. POD Farm 1.12 replaces Gearbox. Same tones, different interface.
  17. +2 to Zap, seems like they are only half working so far.
  18. -1 to Zap. E-Mail notifications seem to be working fine. ;) :P
  19. You can use the XLR or 1/4" analog outs straight to the powered monitors with or without a mixer.
  20. Good point. I was more thinking along the lines of authorizing it on devices/computers he owns.
