  1. Make sure you have the phantom power on and that you are selecting Mic in POD Farm's Mixer view.
  2. +1 to silverhead Does it have a PF2 plug-in license (typical of the black-faced POD Studios)? If so, depending on your workflow, you may be able to get away with running the plug-in in your DAW and monitor in real-time.
  3. That's very subjective. A different interface is not going necessarily going to make POD Farm sound different. We need to figure out what you are hearing as "doesn't handle high gain". If you are clipping coming in, that would be the first hurdle. What DAW are you using?
  4. You might want to try the Metal Pack add-on, you can get a refund within 30 days if you do not like it. The PF license that comes with the GX is a hardware enabled license, which means you need the GX connected to use the models. Do you have the Toneport or the POD Studio? Line6 also has a Hardware Independent version of PF, but it is a separate purchase.
  5. Are you plugging you headphone directly into the POD when your are connected to the computer?
  6. You need to monitor through your pod, it becomes the sound card (connect speakers and/headphones directly to it). There may be work arounds, what OS are you on?
  7. Look in the Mixer view of POD Farm, you can send the processed and/or unprocessed signal to your DAW. If you have the plug-in, you may want to capture both simultaneously, then you can add the plug-in to the dry track with the wet track serving as a reference to the tone you were going for.
  8. What OS? POD Studio (black-faced) or Toneport (red-faced) UX1? Are your speakers connected directly to the UX1? Guitar, computer sounds (youtube, mp3...)?
  9. Thanks for the distraction!! Not like I don't have enough going on this weekend, now I have to look for this. BillBee has been reported to the authorities!!
  10. Just for clarification, you monitoring solution is connected directly to the UX? Standalone vs plug-in should not make a difference, with the exception of how your DAW might change the behavior. I have seen the iTunes stop issue on a Dell laptop with no Line6 software/hardware. See if there is a separate Dell sound control panel, maybe there's a setting in there tricking things up.
  11. I think it should save the setting for Tone A though, but Tone B will default to Same as Tone A.
  12. My apologies, my trouble shooting reverted to a "random audio drop outs" thought process. Does POD Farm function as expected (other than silencing all other audio?)? When you open POD Farm are you referring to the standalone or plug-in? When yo click play on iTunes or GP does it look likes it is playing or does the timeline not move?
  13. If you did get another interface you should still be able to use PF as a plug-in your DAW as long as it is connected via USB.
  14. I am not on Win10 but... Have you tried explicitly setting the UX2 as your default device? Also try digging into Windows power management. especially concerning USB. I'm guessing you already opened a ticket with Line6?
  15. Was it previously working? Is you monitoring solution connect directly to the UX1?
  16. Is this a Toneport or POD Studio? Are you using PF or PF2? Does Line6 Monkey show any updates?
  17. I thought Adobe Audition supports VST's?? If you can get Adobe Auditionto OSB you should be good to go. I do not stream or use OSB, so in my context I send POD Farm output to my DAW via ASIO.
