Meambobbo's tones are designed for direct studio recording, not amp playback. They are awesome if that is what you use though. Glad to hear your experiment is working out for you!

Nice review and thanks for pointing out another excellent piece of gear!
-
Pre versions are only preamp models. They don't include the power amp modeling. That is why some models seem weaker or thinner in pre.
-
Put your amp before mixer split, and throw a pitch glide in each mixer path, bi-phonic?
-
Just so you know, with any 15% off coupon at GC, someone can get that amp brand new for $850. You may want to come down a bit on your price to get some bites.

It's there. You're not crazy. It's not there on hurghanico's. I wonder if it is an issue with noise/ distortion from the 1/4" in? I assume hurghanico's using the VDI input. Mixer settings? Hurghanico's is boosted +6. Perhaps the output is under driven? I know it sounds stupid, but what do you have to lose?

1. It is generally recommended you use preamp patches, but not a rule. Let your ears be the judge. 2. Channel A is used when the L6 Link is being used. Channel B is used when you turn the amp model off in your Pod patch. 3. Whichever amp is in the top path selects the DT25 configuration. You can still change what topology/class/pentode-triode mode is used, but default is based on the amp in the top path, and both amps obviously will be using this power amp configuration. 4. Either one can make changes. But when you load a patch, it loads the knob locations saved in the patch, not knob location of channel A on the amp. Enjoy! I love my HD500 and DT25 combo. It will take some time to tweak your patches, but you will find much better tones in the end.

Make sure you have your unit powered down when you do this to prevent potential electrical shorts. Don't let the magic smoke out.

Yes, there are no hard and fast rules. You do what sounds best to you. Glad you are enjoying it!

Philosophy, Skill Aquisition And Why I'm Falling Out With My Dt25

Too late! I'm already on the boat! -
So it works to play guitar, but will not connect to computer?

I'll be on a slow boat, expect me within the next 90 days! ;) -
It was on me. I should have explained it better in the first post. I talked about the amps a lot and just jumped past your first question quickly with an affirmative reply. Let us know how it works for you!
-
I did answer it. The first time. Throw a splitter on one channel, send it to blackstar and one Traynor input. Other output to Traynor. Done. Same as first time. Although the first time I did just say yes you could. I could have elaborated more.

Sounds like a solid plan

Philosophy, Skill Aquisition And Why I'm Falling Out With My Dt25

How much and where do you live? I need a second one for my cover band. Since it works moderately well you should let it go for a song I would think? Digital modeling trickery and all.... -
Didn't you post the same topic yesterday?
-
I hear that noise in studio/direct when running straight to PA very clearly, but when using DT25 it isn't there. My direct tones use full amps and my DT tones use preamp only. Power amp modeling issue?

Yes, you could. As far as a stereo amp setup, two different amps may or may not play nice together depending on your patches. A Traynor K1 is a keyboard amp and has a very different audio response than a little British tones tube amp. If playing live you will need to take the audience's position into consideration. Some may only hear one or the other, so if the amps are voiced very differently you may sound great out of one of the two or both, but the other by itself may sound bad. Only you can answer this after experimenting. Well, others CAN answer, but you will still have to make that tone decision.

Do you want to use it as a volume pedal or a second expression pedal?
-
What Pod do you have? New or used? Recently repaired? Sounds like a ribbon cable came loose inside the unit. Do the footswitches light up but not work?
-
I thought there was an option to turn off the light on the tap tempo button in the setup menu.

Never heard of these guys. I like them. Sounds like Gin Blossoms meets Gas Huffer.

Actually I'm fine with my Pod, I just wanted to find a way to use hullabaloo in a sentence.
