  2. Guys, please update to firmware 2.61, which puts Acoustic in its rightful place within the Vintage pack. Thanks for your patience and sorry about any confusion caused. Thanks, Brue, for the models table. I'm posting it in a KB article today.
  3. Global EQ is used for compensating for the wide disparity in acoustic environments on tour or when traveling from studio to studio, and is applied to all setlists and presets. Global EQ features three fully parametric bands plus variable low and high cut filters. This feature is not available in the HD editor programs used via computer. To access Global EQ: Press and hold the VIEW button to open the Setup Menu. Using the four-way, cursor right until you see the Global EQ screen. Turn Knob 1 to select the desired EQ band (Low Cut, Low, Mid, High, High Cut) andturn Knobs 2, 3, and/or 4 to adjust the selected band. To bypass or enable Global EQ, press ENTER. NOTE—Due to L6 LINK’s flexible routing, Global EQ is not available at this output.
  4. brianabram, please contact our staff directly with a ticket at www.line6.com/support/tickets so they can troubleshoot with you. In the meantime, try this: unpair Bluetooth, turn off Bluetooth, uninstall app, power cycle your iPad and the amp. Power them both again, install the app and pair via Bluetooth. Also find if this problem occurs with all IOS or Android devices.
  5. We can now delete all personally identifiable information from accounts, deactivate them, and generalize the username. See above. Please contact us with a ticket at www.Line6.com/support/tickets to do so.
  6. See enclosed spreadsheet for the list. Mobile POD Amp Models List.xlsx
  7. When attempting to update the RELAY G10 transmitter using Windows, some users have reported that the device either does not establish a connection via USB, or loses the connection during the update. It is worth noting that Windows supplies the driver for this Relay device. There are two scenarios where the Relay device is not recognized by the updater app after connecting via USB: the updater is launched before the Relay device drivers have finished installing. This may occur more often on slower computers, computers that already have several open windows or processes, or with machines that have a slower internet connection. the "Driver not successfully installed" message appears. In this case, click "Change settings" then choose "Yes, do this automatically (recommended)" in the Device Installation Settings dialogue box, then select "Save Changes". In the event the "Driver not installed" message box is not present, you can navigate to Device Installation Settings using the following steps: Click Start, type "devices and printers" in the search box, and then click Devices and Printers. Under Devices, right-click the icon for the computer, and then click Device installation settings. Choose "Yes, do this automatically (recommended)" and select "Save Changes" button. After changing this setting, remove the USB cable, then insert it again so that Windows can detect the Relay device and install the driver for it. It is possible to see the Relay device update fail shortly after it starts. This can occur if one of the Relay device drivers has not finished installing before you initiate an update. In this case, the updater will typically display that the firmware version is unknown. The workaround here is to wait until the driver completes installation, or disconnect the USB cable, reconnect it, then start the update again. Lastly, it is worth noting that some USB cables are charge-only, so a change in cables may help. Also, trying all ports and even a different computer may resolve the issue, based on various USB port configurations.
  8. Sorry you're having trouble, timjay73. That sounds like a problem reaching our server. That can be caused by a number of security settings in your browser, your OS and/or your ISP. You may want to try to adjust those settings, try another Windows machine, or try on a different network.
  9. AJ30, please make a ticket with our staff at www.line6.com/support/tickets.
  10. Sorry to see you run into trouble. You can start a Repair RMA with us at http://line6.com/company/contact/rmarequest/
  11. In the AMPLIFi Remote editor, there are 10 effects blocks that you can turn on and off, and assign different models and parameters to. Some of them can be dragged to different locations, some can't. Of these ten blocks, only three of them can be assigned as: Drives and Dynamics Mods Delays Filters, Synths and Pitch A quick way to tell which three can be assigned these effects types is that they have a border around them: Notice Stomp, Synth and Mod all are bordered. However, Reverb is selected, so its border is brighter. Here's how to change the effect type of those three blocks: 1. Select one of the three blocks by touching it. In this example, we'll select Stomp. 2. The effect will then show the effect type (in this case, "stomp"), the effect name ("Facial Fuzz"), and a power button to the right to turn the effect on or off. Touch the effect type to change it. 3. You'll then see a "Type" button. Touch it. 4. The block types then appear. Choose one. 5. Lastly, select an effect and touch OK. 6. The block has been changed. There is no restriction on the number of similar effect types or effects assigned to these three blocks. Three stomps, each with a Fuzz Pi on it? Knock yourself out! Just don't forget to save your tone (cloud icon, then disc icon).
  12. USB recording on Mac requires 10.7+. The AMPLIFi driver for Mac is class-compliant, meaning it uses the driver that OSX provides. Windows 7/8 users MUST download and install the AMPLIFi driver at www.line6.com/software before connecting via USB, otherwise the non-compatible default Windows driver will attempt to install.
  13. Sorry to see you run into trouble. We supply support via phone and support ticket at www.line6.com/support. However, you may resolve the issue by "forgetting" the Bluetooth pairing on your phone, uninstalling the app, updating the amp to firmware 2.10 if not there already, then reinstalling that app and pairing via Bluetooth.
  14. Hello, Mr. Limoges. I'm sorry to see this be your experience. Our products leave the factory in brand new condition. They then go to regional international distributors, who also distribute products from other companies, then finally, retail stores. In this case, the retailer you bought it from needs to resolve the situation. With you being in Canada, it is best that you contact our Canadian distributor if the retailer does not resolve the issue to your satisfaction: Yorkville Sound 550 Granite Court Pickering, ON L1W 3Y8 Tel: 905-837-8550Fax: 905-839-5776 Web: www.yorkville.com
  15. Gearbox is a legacy product. The workarounds are to use a previous OS or edit on the unit itself. Locking thread. Please go to IdeaScale to vote up BadHouses' open source request: http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Open-Souce-Retired-Software/677387-23508
  16. All 4 tone lights (or ABCD lights on the FX100) flashing is 'recovery mode'. It is the intended behavior after a failed update. If you come across this mode, you must attempt to update the AMPLIFi again. Power down your AMPLIFi. When updating via PC, please connect the USB cable and make sure to boot the unit while holding Tone+Tap (amp, TT) or A+C (FX100) to put your AMPLIFi into Update Mode. Run the Line 6 Updater program found at www.Line6.com/software. For a guide, please refer to http://line6.com/support/page/kb/_/amplifi-products/ampl/how-to-update-amplifi-with-a-pc-r701. If you still get failed updates from the Line 6 Updater, try another USB cable and port as well as another computer When updating via an iOS device, Bluetooth works in recovery mode, but the pairing from before the failed update is not maintained. You must press the Bluetooth button and pair again from the smart device's Bluetooth menu. You can then proceed with the update.
  17. Q: If the AMPLIFi product works as a sound card through USB, what would be the way for connecting a pair of studio monitors to do the mixing with? How does the IO on AMPLIFi with USB recording enabled work? Is it a 2-in/2-out? If so, does AMPLIFi act as the 2-out monitor? A: The AMPLIFi amp becomes your sound card when using USB to record, so while you're recording using an amp, it's easiest to monitor computer playback through the amp – it really does sound great. You could always use the headphone outs to get a direct signal into studio monitors via a mixing board or other solution, but the intent is to use the amp for monitoring – at lease while you are recording. Once you are done recording, you can can mix using whatever setup you like. For AMPLIFi TT or AMPLIFi FX100, you would just connect monitors to the main outs on the units. Q: What bit depth and sampling rate can you use when recording with the AMPLIFi series? A: The AMPLIFi series can record in 24bit with sampling rates from 44.1k up to 96k on Windows and in 24bit with sampling rates of only 48k on MAC OSX. When using the AMPLIFi series for operating system audio you can adjust these within Control Panel on Windows and System Preferences on MAC OSX. When using the AMPLIFi series within a DAW, you can adjust these within the Audio Preferences/Options of the DAW. Q: What operating systems are the AMPLIFi series USB audio drivers compatible with? A: Our Windows ASIO USB audio driver is compatible with Windows 7 and Windows 8 and can be downloaded from our software HERE. The AMPLIFi series is CoreAudio compatible on MAC OSX 10.7 and above, therefore does not require the installation of any additional drivers.
  18. Sorry you ran into trouble, glip. All 4 tone lights flashing is “recovery mode”. It is the intended behavior after a failed update. Bluetooth works in recovery mode, but the pairing from before the failed update is not maintained. Users must press the BT button and repair from the smart device’s BT menu. A user must power the unit while holding Tone+Tap (75/150 amps or TT) or A+C (FX100) to use the PC updater. Please try that and let us know how you fare.
  19. THIS JUST IN! The AMPLIFi v2.1 firmware update turns AMPLIFi 150, 75 and FX100 into powerful class-compliant USB interfaces for Mac, PC and iOS*, making them ideal for use with GarageBand®, Cubase®, Pro Tools®, Logic®, Ableton® Live, Cakewalk® and other pro recording platforms. All AMPLIFi owners can now record with the same exact amp and effect tones they’ve downloaded from the cloud or created themselves. AMPLIFi v2.1 firmware update is available now for AMPLIFi 150, 75 and FX100, and can be downloaded via the AMPLIFi Remote iOS and Android apps, as well as the AMPLIFi Utility for PC. The ASIO driver for PC is available at www.line6.com/software. * Camera Connection Kit required.
  20. On November 20 in this thread, I posted the complete Monkey uninstall instructions. Earlier in the thread, I posted that AVID software may be contributing to this problem, as they are not Yosemite compatible yet. Please remove both Monkey and AVID drivers/software, then install Monkey 1.68. This has resolved the issue for some users. We still have yet to reproduce this problem in our lab, so there is no definitive answer yet.
  21. Monkey 1.68 is Yosemite compatible. Is that what you have?
  22. Hi, guys. Hopefully the video below will help you get better performance from AMPLIFi. That's a new overview video that goes over some of the concepts surrounding the amp's performance and what could potentially hinder it. We have more videos at http://line6.com/support/page/kb/_/amplifi-products/videos/ Environment and your surroundings can play a big part in performance. You could potentially take the same AMPLIFi unit to another location to see it work well, while the same Bose or other BT unit perform poorly. Updating the amp is always suggested. Those with continued issues should contact our staff at www.line6.com/support for more suggestions.

  24. There is growing speculation that 3rd party audio/MIDI device drivers (especially those that are not Yosemite-ready) may be capable of affecting Monkey, so it may be worth it to uninstall the driver(s), rather than just disconnect any 3rd party devices. Also check with the device manufacturers to make sure they work on Yosemite.
  25. Doh!!! Here are the simplified uninstall instructions. After uninstalling Monkey, I suggest uninstalling ALL AVID Drivers and software if possible (back up your personal files first), even if you're not actively using the AVID drivers and/or hardware. Hezul's test results and other comments surrounding AVID products are driving my suggestion. Monkey should then be installed afterwards. Please let me know the results.
