  1. Version française. Deutsche Version. We have discovered that even if you've authorized your POD Farm 2 license with Line 6 License Manager, GarageBand 10 on OSX 10.9 will not allow you to use POD Farm as an AU plug-in on an audio track. The plug-in window launches showing that plug-in is not authorized. To ensure the plug-in is working as it should, we encourage you to test it on another DAW, such as Reaper, which is a free download. GarageBand 10 changes the location where the authorization files are found. However, there's a workaround to try: 1. Authorize your computer (or Hardware / L6 Device) - using License Manager 2. Start up Pod Farm (not plugin) and see that things are working okay 3. Copy the entire ~/Library/Application Support/Line 6/GuitarPort folder into: ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.garageband10/Data/Library/Application Support/Line 6/GuitarPort (create that folder path as needed) NOTE: You may get a pop-up from the OS asking you to lower your security settings to use this AU. You will not be allowed to use POD Farm, or other certain plug-ins, until this settings change is made. If you continue to have issues with POD Farm 2 after trying the workaround, please contact Apple Support at the link below for assistance with configuring GarageBand's security settings to allow POD Farm 2 to be authorized: http://www.apple.com/support/contact/ Nous avons découvert même si vous avez autorisé votre licence POD Farm 2 avec le Line 6 License Manager, GarageBand 10 sur OSX 10.9 ne vous laisse pas utiliser POD Farm comme AU plugin avec une piste audio.
  2. Hello. I'm sorry to see you run into trouble with this website, but Line 6 is not affiliated with them. I have reported the site to our legal department.
  3. I don't have that info. The service center will have to tell you.
  4. rublalup, our techs reviewed your posts, and the feel it's probably going to need the board swapped, but that is only speculation. The service center needs to examine it. In case the service center does swap the board, please have them take the secure memory chip from the old board and put it on the new one.
  5. ...And this is on two systems now? What audio is passing when this happens? Streaming or guitar input? Is the HD set as the system sound device, processing all system audio?
  6. rublalup, I am away from the office today. Tomorrow, I will show your video to our techs and see if they have an idea of what it could be. Chrisnich, how long ago did this start happening? Looks like you've had your unit for about two years. I have opened a ticket for you to attach your patches to so we can find if any are corrupt.
  7. Trying to reproduce this on another computer will tell us if the issue is with the driver or your computer. This is not a symptom we've seen much of, if at all. I suspect with the computer having reboot issues, that it's not the POD or its driver. An unexpected reset can cause a plethora of issues on anyone's computer. Please let us know what happens on the second computer.
  8. rublalup, I replied to your ticket. It looks like you've tried everything I suggested, and a repair is in oreder. I wish I had better news. Chrisnich, how long have you had this problem? Do you still encounter it if you reflash your unit with stock patches (after backing up your patches, of course)?
  9. Hello, Line 6 customers. After reviewing this thread, it looks like there a couple of separate issues being experienced. Most of your reports appear to be due to cable failures. We are sorry to see that happen. In these cases, please create a support ticket at www.line6.com/support for us to address this problem. For those that that report it stopped working after updating to iOS 7, you are most likely running into the microphone ‘privacy’ settings in iOS 7 which we have created a Knowledge Base article for: http://line6.com/support/page/kb/_/mobile-products/sonic-port-mobile-in/ios-7-microphone-access-no-input-fr-r558 As for compatibility, the SonicPort was thoroughly tested with iOS 7 before its release with no issues found. We encourage you to create a support ticket with us if our Knowledge Base articles do not help resolve any connection issues you may have.
  10. Hi. Is this the list you're looking for? http://line6.com/spideriv/sounds75.html. There's a preset called "Zap Pa So Lo" under "Songs from the 70s" there. Thanks for the tip. I've updated the Spider IV 75 presets Knowledge Base item to reflect this.
  11. Good idea, so now it lives: http://line6.com/support/forum/69-dream-rig/ As for adding any other Dream Rig-centric features, I encourage you to go to our new Product Feedback page http://line6.ideascale.com/. This is where you can post ideas about our products and services, and other Line 6ers can vote on them. The ideas with the most votes rise to the top. POD HD 500 Specific Functions: Q: How do I enable the Wah effect with the expression pedal of the POD HD500? A: When you assign a wah effect (or any other effect) to be toggled on/off by the Expression Pedal Toe Switch, in order to physically enable or disable the effect, you must press down hard on the front toe portion of the expression pedal. You must use a good amount of pressure pressing down on the toe of the expression pedal which makes it difficult to do with your hand. Placing the pedal on the floor and press down hard on the toe of the expression pedal with your foot. You should see the red EXP 1 light change to green EXP 2 (or vice versa). Q: Which external expression pedals can I use with the POD HD500? A: We recommend using the Line 6 EX-1 or the Mission Engineering EP1-L6 expression pedals. You can also use any other expression pedal containing a 10k Ohm Potentiometer. Expression pedals allow you to change stompbox controls using your feet so you can adjust the sound while you play. On the fly, you can modify the length of your delay time, dial up the reverb mix, or change the depth of your tremolo, or anything you program the expression pedal to control on the POD HD500. Q: How do I assign the foot switches of the POD HD500 to use it as a MIDI Controller? A: Press and hold the MOVE button to access the MIDI ASSIGN screen. This is where you configure custom MIDI commands to the Expression Pedal 1 and 2, Expression Pedal Toe switch, FS1-FS8, Looper, and TAP switches. All settings on this screen are saved per Preset. 15. Français Deutsch To switch Feedback suppression modes: Press and hold the FBS button and you will see the colors cycle through, green to yellow to red and back to green. Release the FBS button when you are on the desired setting. RED is for speech. An example is an individual doing a Power Point presentation. This could apply to a couple of people speaking at the same time, but the key is that human speech and human speech ONLY, is coming through the system. YELLOW is for vocal singing. An example would be acapella singing. This could be a group or a solo singer/performer, but it is meant for human singing voice only, with no other instrumentation. You may be able to use this for a singer/songwriter solo guitar and vocal. Yellow can work in this case because guitar and voice are in very similar frequency ranges, but, depending on the material, GREEN may be a better option in that case. GREEN is intended for universal application and should be used as a default feedback suppression setting. Only switch to the YELLOW or RED setting when the GREEN setting is not properly addressing your feedback concerns, or where feedback reduction is more important than audio quality. Using more aggressive feedback suppression settings may cause sonic artifacts in some cases. If you are experiencing undesirable artifacts when using Feedback Suppression: If you are experiencing undesirable artifacts when using Feedback Suppression it may be that a less aggressive setting should be used. Results are typically most pleasing when using the least aggressive setting that is appropriate for the given situation. It is good practice to start with the GREEN mode and only to move on to YELLOW and then RED if feedback is not being properly addressed. Green is for good and green is for go. In the majority of cases, customers should use green and they will be good to go.
