Always internet connection error. Right usernname and password. Is it a serious line6 customer care service? No way to have back or save new patches. And without having the login, stops you to use the "clouds" icon (to name for example the patches)

A few days ago I had to change my phone, since the previous one no longer charged the battery. To my surprise, the application of the Firehawk FX does not work with the new phone anymore, apparently due to incompatibility with the new version of Android. This is really frustrating, the application gave access to all its parameters quickly and intuitively. Without it, working with the pedal board is very complicated. I understand that it may seem unprofitable for Line 6 to make the effort to maintain an application for a discontinued product, but for users, the app is essential, and if there's no update, you get an angry user with a product that makes him unhappy. Why make life more complicated for us, the users? Why not offer solutions that benefit us all? You could, for example, develop paid updates for discontinued products. Let's say you offer the ability to get Firehawk FX upgrades for a reasonable price profitable for the Line 6 development effort, and not too expensive for us, the users. I would update gladly, paying to be able to continue using my pedal board along with my mobile phone. On the other hand, if you develops a PC version of this pedalboard's soft, I would be happy to acquire a license to use it. Please think about it. Surely I'm not the only user frustrated for not being able to have the app of the Firehawk FX working, and surely like me, there will be many who would pay a reasonable price for an update. you can use this emulator on your windows 10 PC, https://www.bluestacks.com/#gref Bluestacks will allow you to install the google play app Firehawk Remote. then click the keyboard once you are in to set up what keys you are using for various actions I used arrows for swipes, save it and have at it.

I just got a firehawk 1500 and have been rifling through all of its options and features and realized the ios and android apps are slightly different. The ios app has much better integration with saving tones directly to the amps bank/patch of your choice. Am i crazy or is this not a capability of the android app? I am lucky enough to have both an apple and an android. Logic says use ios, but the ios app is crashing everytime I try to click into the variax settings. So Question is : are there any plans to either bring the android app up to par with ios? , or to address the crashing when opening the variax settings? Thanks

Just curious. What is the origin of the "HD" effects on the Firehawk? I don't appear to have these mystery models on my other Line 6 "HD" products including my HD PRO (with upgrade model packs). Were these built for the Firehawk or were they part of an unpublished update for the "HD" line?

Sick of my AMPLIFi FX100 losing Bluetooth connection and thinking of upgrading to a Firehawk but wondering whether they still have the same connection issues as the FX100 line or whether things are more stable? I just want to be able to turn it on and have it connect and sync up to my device instantly without always failing to connect or getting stuck ‘downloading presets from device’ or ‘syncing’ or ‘no device connected’ etc..... Is the Firehawk that much better than the FX100? I would be considering a Helix instead but iOS control is really important to me and the Helix doesn’t have that.

Hi, I am considering buying the Firehawk FX Guitar Multi-Effects But in reviews and App reviews on IOS, all i read about is the App Bluetooth connectivity really sucking. Can anyone tell me what their experience is? Is this right, or is just a few people complaining? Also, does Line 6 update this App often? Thanks!

Hello, I'm begineer in the world of records and I start testing my Firehawk FX how one audio interface, however, I having problems: first I connect my Firehawk FX in my nootebook with the USB entrance; adjust the volume level of record on my computer in the max and start recording in the Audacity but the volume of my records don't is good how the volume of another records that I view in YouTube. What is the problem of my records? I need buy one audio interface to solve this or exist one resource that can help me and I don't know? Grateful if you can help me!

I have a problem with the volumen pedal, if I move it all, all the drive parameter of the cabinet is moved automatically to 50%. I updated the firmware to the 1.30 v and also downgraded to the original version, but the problem was not fixed. Even the pedal calibration was done. You can see the problem on the video. does any body has the same problem? Is there any solution available?

Hi, is there any way to change the brightness of the lcd-screen on the Firehawk? Yesterday I had a performance at a vaguely sun-lit stage, and I wasn't able to read the name of the settings…I actually had the same problem with the led-buttons…so I was guessing the whole time. Not a fun way to play…got me pretty nervous at times.

Hey guys and girls, Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere. Is the Firehawk FX power supply ok to also power an Xotic SL Drive pedal at the same time (the polarity is the same, hot sleeve)? It would be helpful to not have to set up another ps onstage. Many thanks S

Hi guys, does anyone use Firehawk as a bass multifx unit? I play guitar and bass and in the latter case I run a Tech 21 or a Bass Pod XT in the fx loop, but I always wonder why Line 6 doesn't add its fine Bass models to the Firehawk app (which from my point of view doesn't sound like a titanic venture), so it would be a more complete product. What do you think?

I've been enjoying my Firehawk 1500 with the FBV controller and a Variax for several months now, but when the HX Stomp came out I saw it as an excellent chance to both have an expansion of the Firehawk's effects, and to have a puny little Helix to take on the go or use with headphones in the bedroom. Based on some of the previous posts about connecting the Helix to the Firehawk 1500 I was worried that it would be a bit of a hairball but it didn't seem to be a problem at all and I was curious what methods everyone else had tried. Because I wanted to retain the Variax VDI input control (which the Firehawk 1500 has but the HX Stomp does not) this is how I set it up: 1. Variax into Firehawk 1500 VDI input. 2. FX block in Firehawk effects chain turned on and placed after amp block. 3. Left & Right sends on Firehawk FX Send out to Left & Right input on HX Stomp. 4. Left & Right outputs on HX Stomp to Left & Right Returns on Firehawk 1500. My thinking was to use the HX Stomp primarily for its effects with the Firehawk for the amp and distortion settings, and then if I needed more effects than what HX stomp allowed to simply use the additional effects blocks within the Firehawk. When I tried that setup it seemed to work perfectly, but it also seemed to work just fine to have the HX stomp handle the amp settings as well. Best of all, I was able to use the Variax without needing a battery and still set its tunings within the app. Has anyone else on this board experimented with different ways to mesh these two? What worked best for you?

Dear Line 6, Is the FireHawk 1500 support or enhancements dead?????? You have such an awesome underdeveloped product here. The majority of the needs are in software and editability settings and with the FVB 3. I love the amp but it is a 63.14 lb. Living Room Brick. Because of the lack of editing for live performances. Please step up and enhancement the product. You have very skilled people on your team that are real players. They know what is needed. Guys isn't all about the Helix, Helix LT, Helix Stomp, Helix Effect. You won't get us to buy any of these or future products when you ignore our other stuff. PS I've had your stuff from the very beginning. You are bring in all these new product and your attention to the other products had slipped. There hasn't been an update or enhancement even on your Varaix other than the Suriken. Absolutely nothing for a very long time. Please be aware that with the current AMPLIFi and Firehawk remote apps, connection problems can occur if the Bluetooth device is paired after the app has been opened. In this scenario, we suggest that you: fully quit the app (double click the home button and swipe the app off the dock) pair over Bluetooth launch the app CLICK HERE for a video tutorial on Bluetooth Pairing your AMPLIFi/Firehawk. To pair the AMPLIFi/Firehawk with your Bluetooth device: Enable Bluetooth on the device you would like to stream audio from. Put the AMPLIFi/Firehawk into "Pairing Mode" by pressing and holding the Bluetooth button located on the upper left of the top panel. It will begin to flash quickly to indicate it is in "Pairing Mode", and the Master Volume knob's LEDs will change from solid red to flashing white. Within the Bluetooth options of your mobile device, an entry for "AMPLIFi/Firehawk" will appear. Select the "AMPLIFi/Firehawk" entry and pair with it. The Bluetooth LED will stop flashing and become solidly lit blue. Schalten Sie Bluetooth auf dem Gerät, welches Sie mit dem AMPLIFi koppeln wollen ab. Schalten Sie es wieder ein und versuchen Sie erneut zu koppeln. Überprüfen Sie das Stromkabel das AMPLIFi und ob es sitzt. Schalten Sie das AMPLIFi aus, wieder ein und koppeln Sie erneut. Any rumours or news about a FHFX upgrade to a newer model? Getting a little frustrated by the lack of updates and support from Line 6, so I’m hoping there may be a new model coming out between the pricier Helix and this one??

The firehawk used to connect to older ipads having lightning port using the Camera connection kit and you could use the same to record in Garageband on iOS. How to achieve the same for the newer generation iPad Pro's which have the usb c port? Also, apple no longer sells the camera connection kit for iPad's.

When I have the Firehawk FX played into my amp, it sounds great. Love it. But when I plug in my headphones (into the Firehawk), it sounds crappy. Decent headphones, too. Sounds the same plugged into headphone output of the amp. I know that it won't sound the same in the headphones as from the live amp, but it sounds pretty thin and bad. 1) is there some switch or setting I'm missing? 2) is that crappy tone what I'll get if I plug it into an FRFR (or PA, or laptop)? 2a) or do I need to set up my patches so they sound good in the headphones, even though it might not sound as good in my live amp? 3) I've played with the patches and can't seem to make anything sound good in the headphones. Just sounds like there's no amp or cabinet modeling or anything. Sounds like what I heard in my phone's back before I had the Firehawk, which leads me back to question 1... Thanks!

I have a Firehawk FX. Generally happy with the tones, although the lag switching patches live requires creativity. My existing amp is starting to die, so I'm looking for a new one. Should I get a new line6 modeling amp (and control foot board), or just another regular amp? I'm not concerned with "it must sound exactly like this", and more just making cool tones that I like (and sometimes sound a lot like the songs I'm covering). So I'm that regard, having a regular amp paired with the Firehawk FX has been ok, even though I know I'm not getting the exact tone that's being modeled, at least I can get sounds I like to play. In retrospect I wish I had bought a (TBD) amp and foot controller instead of the fire hawk, but since I already have the money sunk... So do I buy a new modeling amp and foot controller and sell the Firehawk? Or just buy a new regular amp?

The overall volume is the Master Volume control. This is controlled by the "big knob" when the LEDs are red (the default state). All of the other volumes happen before this one and it's ultimately how you control the output level while keeping everything relatively balanced by using all of the other controls. This is a global control. The Guitar Volume happens just before the master and is how you balance the guitar level against the Bluetooth streaming audio that is coming into the unit. This is also a global control and is accessed by pressing the big knob until the LEDs are white. The Channel Volume is like a Master for just the amp, and it is stored with the patch. It adjusts the output level without affecting the tone (like the Gain control on the amps would). This is the control you use to level your presets relative to each other. The slightly quirky thing here is that it does live in the amp processing slot, so it happens in the signal chain before the post effects. In v1.1 firmware and later, pressing the big knob until the LEDs are pink acts as a short cut to accessing this control without the app. The Gain on the amp panel is the per-patch parameter that affects the tone of the amp - also referred to as Drive The Volume Pedal is an additional real-time control whose value is not saved with the patch. You can see in the app where it lives in the signal path. The Master control on HD amps is considered a deep edit parameter (like sag, hum, etc.) that is saved with the patch and is exclusive to HD amps. It's the output level of the preamp to the power amp. When you load one of these models, the stored value is right for that amp in the default state and it's usually best to leave it where it is unless you are going for a very specific effect.

Considering upgrading to Helix, currently have a Firehawk FX. Can you transfer your Furehawk presets to Helix to save time? Obviously would want to make changes and new settings, but this would make it easy to pick up and play while setting up in between gigs.
