  1. http://line6.com/support/topic/4695-pod-hd-pro-xcrown-xls1000guitar-cab-help-with-video/ That might help.
  2. That is the FX Loop for the SV. This link should help you. http://line6.com/support/topic/15344-how-to-setup-firehawk-with-4-cable-method/
  3. Who knows? Those L6 guys probably got a lil barmy in their labs. :)
  4. http://line6.com/tonecore/ottofilter.html/ Auto-wah.... Otto-wah. :0
  5. I am still waiting for the L6 Can Cozy. It can hold the XT-W Bluetooth speaker.
  6. Ha quoted myself! This is going to be a summer project as I picked up another HD100 MKI for pennies (the cab was really really rough but the SV functions perfectly - well the Master Vol pot will get replaced). Just a rebias, chassis swap and its like new. I'll see if the Line 6 will allow the local Service Center to pull the processing board and ship that to them. Shipping one way for us mere mortals was ~$100 - ouch - so both ways begins to add up to some serious $$.
  7. There is a Vetta group on Facebook that is worth joining. The resources and people there will be able to help you.
  8. Probably a trip to the manual on the Midi Send/Receive would help you greatly in addition to thinking how you will chain the slave unit. FX loop?
  9. Its a high pass filter where you can vary the frequency. The only way to tame it is to try the different positions and see where you are tone wise. Btw the tone knob on your guitar helps.
  10. I can't help you with the 12 String as it does sound like a chorus to me too. Possibly reduce any 'Verb out of the patch to try and sharpen the note response a bit. The XTL just uses a common USB cable that any office supply place would carry - the type a printer would use. You need to go to the Downloads area (link is above) and get the Line 6 Monkey & Line 6 Gearbox or Line 6 Edit. Depending on what OS you are running L6Edit might work on the later Win Versions but try Gearbox first. You MIGHT have to use a lower operating system in the drop down menu box btw as the later OS versions were never created. If you had the XTL expansion packs you would get the L6 License Manager to authorize the XTL (after registering it). Run Line 6 Monkey and it should be able to get what you need as far a getting the XTL connected (drivers, any firmware, etc.).
  11. Not having Win10 so this is a shot here: Go to the Device Manager/USB Controllers/USB Root Hubs/Properties -> Disable Windoze from being able to "Turn Off Hub". It does this to save power. It may be a HD Edit/Win10 thing or a USB 3 vs 2 issue but its worth a try.
  12. More than likely its a USB setting on your PC. The HD does not do well with hubs so use a port on there rear of the machine. IIRC in Windoze there is a way to go into the Device Manager and adjust the USB port settings.
  13. You do not need the serial # for the software DL. I never registered my V500 and DL'd it just fine, all you need to do is be a registered L6 Member - which you are as you posted here. :)
  14. For the record, we can take that in a different few ways. :)
  15. Looks fine to me. IE 11 here. Perhaps a shutdown and reboot might help or a different browser.
  16. The TP+ is pretty cool with the "tamed" bass player. Prior to the firmware update, the Regular Trio was a free formed jazz oddessy.
  17. I just have the regular Trio but I use an A/B switch prior to so I can route the signal direct to the HD after getting the Trio going. For monitoring the HD goes to an amp and the Trio to either a separate amp or PA. Sometimes I will route both to a mixer then to the PA.
  18. I would still try using the Vzyex Editor from the latest version of Windows it works on ~ Win 7 (?). Be sure to use a quality USB/Midi cable too like the MAudio Uno - the cheapo $2 Ebay specials usually don't work.
  19. http://line6.com/software/index.html
  20. The Downloads are on the Downloads page. :) http://line6.com/software/index.html
  21. You can try fullcompass.com they carry a bunch of L6 parts. It could be the ribbon cable needs to be reseated or a possible replacement of the subboard which they might have. A Service Center is not a bad idea to keep in mind too.
  22. The X3L firmware on the Downloads page goes all the way back to version 1 so DL it there. I would try a different power supply as that can cause the problem sometimes.
  23. Yes you can - the XT patches will have only 1 amp model but you can add a second tone if needed.
  24. http://line6.com/support/page/kb/_/effects-controllers/fbv-mki-mkii-controllers/the-complete-line-6-pedal-compatibility-faq-r58 Check out the FBV MKI as it is the best controller for the options the amps have. The FBV MKII would work as well. The FBV Express is OK but you are pretty limited as to what it controls and have only the 4 patches you can use.
