  1. So, I bought a Vetta 1 combo today and it was working perfectly in the store. I brought I home and plugged it in and was presented with this (see image) the screen looks garbled and wonky. I took it back to the store because they have a 60 day warranty on used items and i won’t have it back for about 2 weeks. Does anybody know anything about this? I thought it had something to do with the internal battery but I just want to see if anyone here knows anything about this.
  2. Hi, 2006 Computer, Windows 7, POD Farm connected, Tone Port KB37, Reaper I connected HELIX to computer and installed the Line6 driver - Next steps : 1. Should there be a display of the Helix screen on my computer? 2. How can I have access to all the options (fx, amp etc...) of Helix on my computer? 3. Obviously I would like to record my guitar with Helix in Reaper (works fine with PodFarm/Tone Port KB37) Should I have to uninstall the POD FARM? What about all my songs settings? Waiting for your support, Thank you Alain
  3. I don't have my Helix yet, so need advise from those of you who have gigged with one. What are you using to protect the Helix screen and scribble strips? I know that we could cut down a tablet screen protector and stick on there, but wondering if anti-glare would be better for outdoor gigs without making the screen too dark for bars/clubs? Also wondering if there are more durable options that anyone has used to prevent the screen from being cracked if there is impact (drunk lady with heels tries to step over the Helix in order to get to the mic because she thinks she can sing (yes, that has happened before). Plexiglass, something else? I want to protect the screen without ruining the visibility in various lighting environments. Thanks for your help!
  4. This just started happening. I already put in a ticket with Line 6 so just waiting to hear back. Anyone experience this and have a quick fix? The unit is about one month old. Reset the unit? Thanks. I'm bummed!
  5. Hi, I have a problem with my Pod HD. While trying to connect it to my computer, I accidentaly touched the footswitch's cable slot with my USB cable and after that my POD's screen started to glitch, working only half of it and went to an infinite loop so wont reboot properly. It just keeps loading and rebooting. If i leave it a while, the screens starts working but stays at the Line6 logo going on and off. I've already tried turning it on while pressing the left nav but nothing happens. If I put on the flash update mode (down nav) it will glitch at first but then it will appear "Update flash" on the screen, but my computer wont cognize it anyway. NOTE: While uploading the video, the screeen stopped glitching, but the unit won start, it just keeps loading. Help...

    Screen woes

    Hi guys, I bought a wonderful helix last Christmas, but from opening the box and plugging it in, it has strange vertical lines in the centre. But when I heard the sound I was amazed and wasn't bothered with the lines because it didn't interfere with the sound. Of course over time, the problem's got worse by all manner of strange things happening on the right hand side of the screen. And now it's black (right hand side of the screen) And all this in the hight of season> So does anyone know or has any ideas about this issue or solutions Do you think Line6 would do an immediate replacement door to door carrier style PS: I bought it from Thomann and they said its a 3 weeks turnaround which is near impossible in this the busy season

  9. Hi guys, need a little help here. My screen start working fine and after seconds or pressing nobs it gets crazy (like in the pic) and sometimes unreadable. I bought the stomp box in US but use it in Argentina with a custom power made for 220 instead of 110. sometimes it is also suddenly turn off and on. thank you for your help!
  10. Hello everyone. I recently bought a Line 6 PODxt from ebay and when I turned it on, it only shows a blank orange screen. The channel lights don't even light up. I was wondering whether the problem is the voltage because the plug is 230V and in Canada, the main voltage is 120V. I used an adapter that can handle up to 250V. The person I bought it from said that it worked fine when before he sent it to me. I really don't know what is wrong with it. Any help will be appreciated.
  11. Hello, Last time I had a practice, for some reason the screen for Effect #1 on my M13 started flashing for no reason (I hadn't even touched any of the buttons). I tried to turn it off and back on, but when I did it was now in updating mode where it was waiting for a command (Can't remember exactly what it said). I had tried a couple of different combinations of buttons while power cycling it, but ended up getting it to come on. When I got home, I did a search online and I think the recommendation I found was to do a factory reset of it (through the Setup screen). I did it. Today I had a practice again (hadn't used the M13 since the factory reset) and soon after we started playing, the screen on Effect #1 started flashing again. Everything still seemed to be working, so I ignored it. Then all of a sudden, the Delay turned itself on (Effect #3). When I pressed the button to turn it off, the button for it actually changed from Green (what it was supposed to be) to Purple. Again, I tried to ignore it, but then the Tube Compressor (the selected effect from #1) started changing to a bunch of different effects. Needless to say, I had to stop playing. I tried to do another Factory Reset but it still kept doing weird stuff afterwards (I was too annoyed at this point to take note of what it was doing, but it was basically more of the same like wouldn't stay in tuner mode while I was trying to tune, etc. Any ideas of what the problem could be?   13. So i bought this pod pro off a mate and it never worked while i've had it, today i was trying to get it working. It turns up and if it's plugged in to the USB it is recognized by my PC, however the screen doesn't show any data (see attached). i can't get any signal from m guitar either. if you can help me distinguish if its a firmware or software problem that would be great! and any suggestions for a fix would be fantastic.
  14. Hi, I was playing guitar with my amp spider 3 and when changing channels with the pedal FVB express the amplifier became stuck and did not emit sounds and no buttons worked. I decided to turn it off and on, but when I turned it back on no buttons lit up and even the saved presets would not load. the preset display only had a few black boxes. please help this is the only thing that can work at this time and it cost me a lot to have this amp. because i do not want to lose it, thanks in advance.
  15. I do really love the sound of Mobile-POD compared to the other iOS amp simulator (I also purchased Amplitube & JamUp Pro XT). But I have this problem when plugging the sonicport to an amp, the touchscreen of my iPhone-5 become un-responsive (almost impossible to operate by touchscreen). So, I have to unplug my iPhone everytime I want to change preset or change setting, and it's sux.. I've tried to plug it to amp front input and return line, but the the problem still the same. Has anyone experience the same problem..?? How can I solve this problem..?? Please share.. Thank you..
  16. One of the backlight colors on the 2nd screen stopped working. So, when that color is suppose to be lit, it makes the screen text very difficult to read. Does anyone know if this can be fixed? Any info would be appreciated! Thank you!
  17. Hi, I have all of a sudden, from nowhere experienced some kind of problem with my Spider IV 75. When turning on the amp you hear a crackling sound and then a continuous high pitched tone and the LCD display won't light up. Is my poor favorite amp dead or does anybody have some kind of idea on how to solve this? Thanks!
  18. Hello, I broke my POD HD500X's display and I'm searching for a new display. I found a website called fullcompass.com and they sell lots of parts for Line 6 products but I couldn't find the LCD display for the POD HD500X. Is there a place where I can buy it? I don't live in USA and there's no Line 6 service center in my country. I want to buy a new screen online and then replace it myself, please help me... I'm going craxy with the broken screen. It's not a big crack but still... It bothers me. It kinda goes away though, when the pod is on for like 10 minutes, when I turn it off it goes back to this. Thanks in advance, please excuse my english.
  19. Hi, I'm having a lot of problems with my UX1 TonePort. I have used it for many years now without any problem, but I recently bought a new (better) computer and now there's some huge latency problems, as well as a lot of clipping and things like that. The BIG issue is, every time I try to change the buffer size (to fix the latency issue) my computer freezes for a second and then I get the blue screen of death. All drivers are up-to-date and everything is registered correctly. Could it be that my TonePort is just too old? I've had it since 2006, haha. Would really appriciate any help. Thanks!
  20. Hi, I just noticed another issue with my x3live unit. When I move it, even just a little the screen goes blank yet the power is on . Well it would be more like stays orange color you know. It starts ok when i power it on, it fails only when i move it. I've read many posts with a similar problem but in all of them they got the blank screen when starting the device. Any clue what the issue could be ?

On both Mac and Windows computers with a vertical screen resolution of 800 pixels or less, the Dock or Taskbar may partially obscure the bottom of the POD HD 300/400/500X/500 Edit software which is used to display the 'No Hardware' message. A workaround is to set the Dock or Taskbar to Auto-Hide. Mac:? Click on the Apple icon at the top left of the screen, then, select Dock>Turn Hiding On. Windows:? Right-click the Taskbar and select 'Properties.'? In the window that pops up, check the box for 'Auto-hide the taskbar,' then hit Apply, and Ok.
  22. There is a known compatibility issue with current Line 6 drivers and the AMD USB Filter driver that comes preinstalled on several AMD computers including HP and Compaq. This issue materializes in the form of constant blue screens when connecting a Line 6 device via USB to these computers. Uninstalling this USB Filter driver will resolve this issue. Note: If you have an AMD PC with a different brand of video card or do not have ATI Catalyst installed and are still experiencing blue screens when you connect a Line 6 device you can manually check for the driver in your Windows system directory. If the driver is installed, it can usually be found at this location: C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\usbfilter.sys Also, we have seen users fix this issue by updating drivers for their video cards. Please make sure that drivers are up to date for all audio and video devices attached to your system. Such devices include: Video Cards PCI Based internal sound cards USB and Firewire audio Interfaces from other manufactures Web Cams Video Cameras that connect via USB and Firewire Digital Cameras and DSLR cameras that connect via USB and Firewire USB Microphones and Turntables Who Crashed is a useful and easy to use tool that can help you identify which drivers or devices are responsible for blue screens on Windows computers.
