Hi There, I recently updated my Helix Lt software to the latest patch, this installed with no issues and my backup was downloaded onto the helix - no issues and I packed to go the my gig. I set up and turned on my Helix and it began rebuilding the database - I'm not sure why? When this had finished, I found it had managed to load all my presets correctly but the 'Cab block' was missing from each preset. Does anyone have any advice on this? Is the database rebuild standard after a software update? Thank you so much in advance and take care all

Hi, this is Mauro from Argentina. After having some electrical issues on stage, Stomp's display turned white during the show. Turning off and on works but only for a random time that could go from 30s to 40m (after many tests at home and rehearsal room). The issue is only about the display, I had no sound problems at all. I also updated the Firmware after this issue just in case, but I can 100% affirm this is an electronical issue. Unfortunately, I don't have any trustable people who can look at it. Warranty has expired too (yes, one month after the 1-year). The seller reviewed and told there's nothing wrong in the unit because they weren't able to replicate. Here's a photo of the issue. I see this issue happening on many LED screens from TVs or computers, so I think it shouldn't be something too complex: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12KEMfg-FyCknNTX63CHyg5pdeMkiFrrL/view?usp=sharing Did anybody ran into this kind of issues? Any tips on which components should be taken in count for reviewing? any electronic plan? Thanks!

For some reason in the Line 6 POD Farm it shows that my "In" is maxed out and my "Out" is also maxed out. I put all the settings that youtubers recommend for my mic to no avail. And whenever i listen to what the mic is picking up, the sound is loud echoing noises. Not sure what that's about in all honesty. Whenever i plug in the XLR cable into the line 6 or mic, the Circles go all the way to max. I have no idea how to make it stop and how to hear my voice. I'll post my settings via Gyazo Links. My goal was just to record some lines with a good sounding microphone, and i learned that USB Mics are usually bad sounding. But im just even more lost now. Hello together, i come from Germany and my english is not so good. I have Issues with the Midi Implementation with the Helix and my JVM 410 HJS Head. In Preset and Stomp Mode I can teach Midi Commands from Helix to my JVM. Good so far. But in Snapshot Mode i can't teach the Helix to change CC# Commands. I instruct the Instant Button to learn the CC# Commands for my JVM. So well, the Value are working and move but the CC# Commands parameters do not move. Its still the same on all Snapshots. Presetmode not working fine because of interruption by switching Presets. I need the Snapshot Mode, definitely. I hope somebody can help me

Hi all, I'm new to this and today; purchased a G75 for use with my bass guitar. Having opened it from the packaging brand new, the receiver doesn't seem to connect or find my TB516 G transmitter. Whenever I try to set it up as it states by creating a new scene, turning the transmitter off and turning it to channel 1 or 2 when prompted, it says 'No TX found' and then goes back to saying NO TX in the bottom right corner. Any suggestions, or am I being stupid? Kind regards, Dan

Work around is to instantiate POD Farm on separate tracks for alternating amp/effect setups or automate all parameters after a automating a model change. Loaded presets which include unauthorized cabinet models do not provide a graphic indication that the model is not active. The user must look at the drop down menu to know if the cabinet model is available or not. A user will never be able to create a preset (from scratch) which includes a model which is not owned. To avoid presets consisting unauthorized models, sort the preset browser's metadata by Own All Models. Not all automation parameters are available in Ableton Live's automation menu. Ableton Live is designed to display 128 automation parameters. POD Farm may not find previously installed GearBox presets by default. Clicking the refresh button in the "Presets" view will show the presets properly. If you create a preset with an amp and then delete that amp and perform a "Save As", you'll notice the deleted amp is called out in the "Save Tone As" window. This is just a GUI issue and your preset has been saved with no amp. Digital Performer does not process Pod Farm plug-in audio when bouncing. POD Farm subsequently freezes when the bounce is completed. The direct audio is bounced, but without the POD Farm effects. Digital Performer does not crash; you can still go to the inserts and remove the frozen POD Farm instance. Mac Exclusive: Clicking on a tone icon will automatically launch Gearbox if it is also installed on your computer. You need to manually associate tones on your Mac to open using POD Farm. Right click or CTRL click on the icon and select "Open With."

Hello all, As a completely new user and member in this community, I apologize in case my question was already answered as I couldn't find useful information. I was playing around in the Helix Native, to organize a specific sound I am going for in taste, by using some 3-rd party IR's. What have bothered me and can't understand how and if able to fix, but when I am using for example the OwnHammer IR's or any other IR's, they work fine inside Helix's IR loader. However recently I managed to capture a particular old record of mine, that I really like how it came out in the final guitar mix (particular room, mics used etc) and I made my own custom IR. That IR can work just fine in any other IR loader (i.e. Recabinet 5 or NadIR). For some reason when I load the same custom IR into Helix Native, no matter if I select 1024 or 2048 and scroll down to the .wav file itself and I try to play it or listen to the already recorded guitar track in my DAW, there is no sound at all :( I tried playing around with the settings of the Helix IR's, but the sound will come only if I turn it off and leave the raw amp head emulation without any cabinet IR. That really pisses me off as now I can't use it for rehearsals or live gigs. Any suggestions how I may fix it? In case, that you wonder how I created my custom IR (if that eventually may help to figure to issue): The way I created my IR is: Track "A" is the original guitar sound I wanted to capture. Track "B" was the same played with Helix without any cabs/IR's. Captured solo channel from A track and used Voxengo Curve EQ, captured it as reference, then the B track on 2nd layer, applied it over the "A track" and muted both GIT channels, select solo mode on the 3-rd track (test sound generated via Voxengo deconvolver), going right in the Stereo Out channel with the applied EQ and converted the final IR file. Thanks in advance, Alex

Hi all, I've had my Amplifi 75 for about a year now and have never really gotten to use it to it's full potential because of the constantly failing bluetooth connection. I previously had an iPhone 6, and it was hit or miss whether or not the amp would connect and show up in the Line 6 app, but now that I've switched to android it won't work at all. I've updated both the firmware on the Amp, and the application on my Galaxy s6, yet no dice. My phone will connect to the amp, and the app will work for about 30 seconds at which point the app starts spazzing out and the bluetooth light on the Amp starts blinking and the connection is dropped. I have tried unpairing and repairing but nothing will work. Occasionally I get the amp to stay paired long enough to play music through it as a bluetooth speaker, but it still never shows up in the Line 6 amp, making it effectively useless as an amp. If anyone has any solutions or ideas as to how I could remedy this issue I would seriously appreciate it! When I did have it working I loved the sounds I was able to create with this amp and really want to get that back. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello. I am sure I have read about some real bugs of HD Edit in the past, so we should take the time and ask Line6 to fix them. This thread should be used as a collection to provide all needed changes in one list. So, at the end we should have a list of errors to be fixt and (additional) also some realistic (!) wishes (probably never will be fulfilled). First error I remember was something with mixer volume, which would not be saved in some instances (maybe only if the POD is connected via USB?). Maybe someone can specify this error more detailed? My personal biggest (realistic) wish for an update of HD Edit would be a tab-functionality to jump to the next knob or parameter and a much more straight visualisation of the chosen (or mouse-over) effect. So here is the list (I would like to keep updated) Bugs take a look at the system defaults and set them to the most common and flawless values. get rid of "(Code 8000000a) Operation timed out". add the software-ability to fix the hardware knobs, as those seem to move by themself through vibrations. expression-pedal related multi-platform bug crashes Edit, if you extensively use wah for more than a couple of minutes (Details 1, 2, 3). DEP lack of displayed knob-values (missing value-display is a known bug. Feature introduced with Ver. 2.25). Error when saving mixer volume (only HD is connected via USB) >>> ideascale I can recall encountering a bug where one side of the mixer, the right channel, occasionally went silent for some reason, and the solution was to just move the volume slider, if using HD Edit. strange general behaviors when HD is connected via USB (should be explainded more detailed). f.e. changes in FX and Amps that are performed over footswitch or expression pedal are not instantly updated/visible (some times not at all) on the edit software. There is no way to know if changes (for example, volume) are actually taking place. Communication between the software and the unit must be improved. I found after editing multiple patches and then quitting the POD HD 500 EDIT you have to restart your pedal to reread the newly edited/loaded patches or they won't play right. the delay settings are not properly transferred from the editor to the device afaik there might be some unfixed issues with some amps in the model packs. Wishes tab-functionality to jump to the next knob or parameter add an overload Indicator in the HD500 signal chain add a vertical scrollbar to allow native resolution of netbooks much more straight visualisation of the chosen (or mouse-over) effect I want to be able to see value of knobs before turning any. Its hard to tell EXACTLY what % your knob is on. The dot that represents true button placement does not get you close enough. I want to edit by the numbers not a grainy LCD screen. Often I need to edit just a couple numbers. add some more mic angles for the SM57 and some valuable mics add some kind of Global EQ patch-wise as an effect-block or DEP Dual Output Modes add API-functions or let the HD Edit go Open Source

So I’m a bit late to the game with this and don’t want to shell out the cash for the Helix, so I just got my Firehawk FX a few days ago. All seemed fine except for two aspects. The first is that the firmware update through the Update Utility always fails. I’ve tried following what the Utility says to do in terms of turning the pedal on while holding the preset A and preset C switches but the updates continue to fail. My second issue, and a big on for me as I was hoping to replace my BlackStar ID with this pedal is that when I record the playback audio is of my guitar detuned somewhere between a half and full step. Furthermore, the playback crackles. Has anyone else experienced these issues? Is it maybe due to the firmware updates not going through? I am running through a Relay G10 but I don’t think that would cause these issues. Thanks in advance!

Just purchased a JVT- 69 and noticed when using the mag pickups the 5 way toggle switch works perfect but when I switch to the virtual instruments position 2 and 4 don't work right. In either position the instrument is intermittent. I have to hold the switch a little out of that location to get it to work and then when I let go, it goes back to the instrument on either side of that position even though it is still in position 2 or 4. I updated to the latest firmware and It seemed like it got worse. Has anyone else had this issue. It currently renders the virtual Side of the instrument almost unusable. I have not found anything on this issue other that one other guy made a video on YouTube and his was really bad (hence his cursing in the background).

Hi, I have had my UX2 for about 2 weeks now, I am having an issue were It will just freeze (Including the dials). My microphone that is plugged into the UX2 stops working and I can hear nothing from my headphones (Except a buzzing sound every 1-2 secs) that are are plugged into the UX2. The way I am currently fixing this problem is by unplugging and re-plugging in my UX2 and relaunching pod farm and after a minute it is fixed, well for a little bit. This issue happens to me about 5 or so times a day and is very annoying. Could you please comment any questions you have that may help you solve this issue. Thanks, Michael

Help needed! Firmware 2.11. Brand new unit. Reason for posting is that I can't find this problem described anywhere else on the internet. Been programming on helix (using out of the box 2.01) for an upcoming tour and tech rehearsal for the last few days. Solid 8 hour sessions of tone finding, each day. Zero problems. I had my guitar in the Guitar In, L/Mono 1/4" to amp, Send 1 to Powered Monitors. Pretty standard, nothing too strenuous. Randomly, this clicking starts coming through my amp. Very quietly. Then disappears. About 10 minutes later it has overtaken the entire output board and no signal is heard from the guitar. [uPDATE: even through the USB outs... which have not been an issue for me as I only need the unit for live mainly, but worth seeing if the problem was there, too... which it is!] I've tried every combination of things to find a solution - every jack cable in every jack in and out... every xlr cable in each output... this click is everywhere and no sound is coming through from the signal chain that's loaded. I even tried updating to 2.11, which didnt work. So I tried a rollback to 2.01, 2.00... but to no avail. The click starts during the loading screen, about halfway through (time wise). It sounds like a digital sample rate mess up somewhere in the deep dark internals... Any help I would be so unbelievably grateful for!!! Thank you!

Hi guys, I seem to have noticed something a bit odd. The updater says that the Helix should only rebuild patches after an update and the first time you turn it back on. My helix now rebuilds patches for a bit longer than It did before the 2.0 update. Am I not powering it off correctly? OR Should it take longer to rebuild patches now and is that a normal function? Also on a semi-unrelated note but still curious... Can i revert back to the original tuner display without the enhanced view? Thanks everyone!

I usually run my guitar through numerous tones I have created myself using Pod Farm (most are distorted), about a week ago I ran the program and the tone I would usually use and it sounded clean rather than distorted. I tried other tones to see if the issue would happen, and it did! I've tried plugging and unplugging it back in, different guitars and cables etc etc. But the issue still happens! It seems to be an uncommon issue because I've been searching for answers but none have come up! Anyone else hear about this problem?

My UX2 came in a few days ago. I got some decent Bose headphones with a 1/4 inch adapter so I could hook it up to the phones jack, and I noticed something strange. When I plug it in all the way there is no sound or it is at extremely low volume. I've checked knobs and settings and it doesn't make sense why it isn't working. But then, I noticed if I plug in the phones about 3/4 of the way in I can manage to hit a "sweet spot" where the sound actually comes in, but this is bothersome as it doesn't always like staying in place. EDIT: Resolved. It was just a crappy adapter.

So bought a GX Pod (Off E-Bay) after I had already upgraded the day before. Besides the fact the Line 6 Monkey will not let me register I also get this error message in Audacity, Reaper and the included software or a variation: Error while opening sound device. Please check the input device settings and the project sample rate. So any ideas on what I can do? The Line 6 does show up in the input/output, but every time I try and hit record the above shows up.... Love the tones etc but if I cannot record what's the point? Any help would be appreciated.

So Ive been having problems with L6 monkey when I try to update it on OS X. Now I notified Line 6 of my problem however that was two weeks ago so I figure this is the next best. When I click on the icon it bounces like it normally does in mac, but then nothing, no window, no nothing and I can't make it do anymore. I tried uninstalling then reinstalling and still nothing. I was hoping to update and maybe look at the new model packs but thats not looking very likely.

I turned on my line 6 spider IV 75 watt amplifier today and all the lights on the various amp settings clean red' 'clean green' e.t.c are all lit up at the same time. Even the additional effects and the orange display in the top right just blinks and makes no progress in turning on. Usually the colours for the amp setting are either red or green, but the left side of settings is yellow and the other half is green? Is this supposed to tell me that there is a problem with the amp? I have tried the factory reset, turned it on and off multiple times, even waited longer to see if it turns on and nothing. In desperate need of some help with this as I called Line 6 and my nearest repair shop is quite far and in an area I don't know too well. Thankyou for taking the time to read this.

Hey guys, I recently got a POD HD500. I've finally managed to get the edit software to open and change tones about. My friend got a pod hd500 before me, and I dialled his tone in. I tried to manually dial the same thing in, but it sounds terrible in comparison. SO, i took the tone, put it onto my laptop and send it to MY pod, it STILL sounds horrible. Whats going on??? Is this a software issue???????

Hey all, first poster here, I'm part of the Strat- Talk community but now I need your help!!! A friend of mine bought her son a POD XT some years back along with a Classic Vibe Strat having seen some reviews on Strat-Talk and various websites about. She'd seen a lot of praise on both and went for it, he was 13 at the time but left everything to rot for a few years. She gave me the POD XT a week ago, great product. I've been using it through my fender amp but I now want to use it as an interface but after downloading Line 6 Monkey and getting the drivers through Monkey it still shows up as Not Connected and No drivers installed. I'm going through Mac OS 10.6.8 No matter what I do I cant get the thing to show up in monkey or my laptop. What should I do, I have no problem resetting the software on my POD. Any insight is much appreciated. FYI she lost the original box and installation discs. Thanks guys Strat-O-Holic
